A Warm Welcome to Signature Dress
Hello and welcome — I’m so glad you’ve found us.
Signature Dress began as an online‑only boutique, but after so many lovely customers asked if they could come and try outfits on, we decided to open up our home rather than rent a big shop that would push prices up.
We’ve converted three of our spare rooms into a calm, private boutique with a changing room, comfy seating area, mirrors, fascinators, shoes and bags. Because we’re in a bungalow, we’re fully disabled‑friendly, and parking is free right outside the door.
When you arrive, I always explain that we’re not Debenhams — we don’t have rails and rails of dresses on display. Instead, we load our website onto a large TV, filter by your size and show you exactly what we have available. There’s no point showing you dresses we don’t have in stock or in your size.
Once you’ve chosen the outfits you’d like to try, we fetch them from our stock room and you can take your time in the changing room. We pop some music on, make sure you feel relaxed, and you’re welcome to take photos or video call family for opinions.

Yes — if your appointment is within 14 days
If your appointment is within the next 14 days, you’re very welcome to order the item online and pop a message on your order asking us to place it on hold. We’ll then reserve it for you and remove it from our website so it’s safely set aside for your visit.
If it isn’t suitable on the day, we’ll process a refund in line with our returns policy.
No — if your appointment is beyond 14 days
If your appointment is more than 14 days away, we’re unable to hold items, as we can’t guarantee availability that far in advance. In this case, we recommend purchasing the item online to secure it.
